About Dichroic Glass
Dichroic glass was first developed by NASA for use in the aerospace industry.  It is formed by the technical and costly process of vacuum deposition which vaporizes different metal oxides onto the surface of the glass using an electron beam gun.
Dichroic glass has one reflected colour and another transmitted colour.  The colours blend and shift according to its angle of view, which makes for unusual and visually stunning jewellery creations.
In the making of these pendants I have fused dichroic glass together with top quality art glass.  Because of the nature of kiln fusing, each pendant   is one of a kind and could never be exactly reproduced.  The pendants have then been mounted on Hallmarked 925 Sterling Silver to give the highest quality finish.
I hope you enjoy wearing these unique pendants as much as I enjoy making them!
